Well. Looks like Devyn's stuck in customs and thanks to Google and DoA I'm about to freak out since there's numerous stories of packages not getting delivered for weeks to MONTHS. Seriously. I wasn't super freaked before, but now I'm about to throw-up. THIS is why I hate buying internationally....while yes, it's been three days in customs...It wasn't shipped EMS and now I'm having an anxiety attack about not receiving my doll and losing money. My boyfriend will NEVER let forget this if this goes south....AHH. 

Omg. seriously. someone please talk to me.

Devyn is officially in the States! .3. The tracking updates on USPS are a little confusing so I can't tell if she's out of customs totally, or just one part...*stares at page* It hasn't moved all day...but I usually don't get an update between the time a package gets off the plane and when it's out for delivery. I just hope she arrives when either (1) my boyfriend is home or (2) when my boyfriend can pick her up... o_o I can't wait until Friday to pick-up. Furthermore...It'd be WONDERFUL if I could have ample time to get her face-up done for the meet this coming weekend. TAT; I'm really cutting it close with this one!

I just hopped on a Mako GO on DoA for her eyes .3. They're gonna be so pretty! It's hard to find pretty brown/hazel eyes, so I hope these Mako's work out. I've got Owl-005 if anyone's curious . I've never ordered from Mako before, so I've got no clue on how long it'll take before they get here...at least I was able to get EMS shipping from the company--that saves at least 2-3 weeks if I had ordered on my own! She was going to get a Monique wig...and honestly, she'll probably still get one at some point...but I'm working on an alpaca wig for her. The seller I got Teagan's fiber from on etsy had some super long black locks so I snagged them! It's hard to find really long fiber! Downside? I got it washed and sorted today...and found out I DID need another ounce. There were about three chunks of short hair too which I was sorta bummed about...good thing Devyn's got fringe or else I'd be pissed that I'd have to waste it. -A-

At some point this week I need to work on Shaant's wig...poor guy is still rockin' the flucked up rockabilly wig I made a few weeks ago!

SO BUMMED.

The weather had warmed up today so I tried my hand at Teagan's face-up...I've never been good at eyeliner and I royally screwed it up TAT. I need to try again tomorrow...poor Teagz ;A;. I was excited because I did well on her eyebrows and lashes...which was what was intimidating me the most, but it went downhill FAST. Hopefully tomorrow will be a better attempt. .n.; I've already wiped her clean, so maybe I can get some work done before sundown tomorrow.

One thing I would like to know is how Andreja's get her water color pencils to look so smooth. Certainly it's witchcraft :/

So, John totally threw out my idea of getting my own alpacas :/. BUT, I'm working on processing the alpaca fiber I got from etsy last week >3<. I wish I got more! I think the next order I do, I'll just get a bunch of raw. The stuff I got had been washed, but that's about it. LOL and I forgot to take pictures through the process...>>; oops. I'm waiting for it to dry now so I can make Teagan's wig--hopefully her final wig! I tied my pieces from the get-go in hopes of keeping everything organized, so I'm hoping it still comes out okay. Will update soon! If anyone's interested, I usually post snap-shots of my happenings on my Tumblr rather than posting everything here. I haven't decided if I want to retry Shaant's wig in brushed yarn again, or do it in alapca. Guess it all depends on how Teagz' wig goes. *crosses fingers*

Devyn hasn't shipped yet--she was scheduled to ship yesterday, but the seller couldn't make it to the PO :/. I'm hoping for an early shipping notice next week .3. I also hopped aboard a Makoeyes GO on DoA for a pair of eyes for her. She's going to be getting a pair of Owl-005; they're a bit more hazel, but that's okay. It's probably going to be a few weeks before they arrive. I was hoping I'd have a nice pair of eyes for her before the meet up in April...oh well. :/ I need to find a wig too. I won't be able to get alpaca in the length that I need with out paying out the ass, so manufactured wigs are going to have to do. I've got my eye on a few at Monique...I should probably order that soon.... ono;

I also need to work on Teagan's dress...and lots of face-ups...AHH too many projects!
